1. Open Claude on the web or in the desktop app, then go to Settings, Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Paste the server URL, and name it whatever you will recognise in a chat.
4. Leave the authentication fields empty; this connector asks for none.
5. Open a new chat, switch the connector on in the tools menu, and ask your question.

In Claude Code, add it from a terminal instead: claude mcp add --transport http tungsten-kb https://forge.ai.kofaxtst.com/kb/mcp

2. Choose to create a custom connector, and paste the server URL.
3. Set authentication to none.
4. In a chat, pick the connector from the tools menu, or select it when you start deep research.

The server provides the search and fetch tools ChatGPT's connectors require. Custom connectors are a paid-plan feature, and in a Business or Enterprise workspace an administrator may have to allow them before the option appears.

1. Open the Perplexity desktop app, then Settings, Connectors.
2. Choose to add a connector, and pick the custom or advanced option.
3. Paste the server URL, leave the transport as HTTP, and set authentication to none.
4. Ask a question and choose the connector when Perplexity offers its sources.

MCP connectors live in Perplexity's desktop app, and which plans offer them changes; if you cannot find Connectors, your plan does not have them yet.

1. Open Grok on the web, then Settings, Connectors.
2. Choose to add a custom MCP server and paste the server URL.
3. Set authentication to none, and save.
4. Turn the connector on in a chat before you ask.

Through the xAI API, pass the same URL in the mcp_servers block of a request rather than configuring anything in the interface.

1. Most clients, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, an agent you wrote yourself, take a JSON block like the one below.
2. Add it to that client's MCP configuration file and restart the client.
3. A client that only speaks stdio can reach this one through the mcp-remote bridge; the second block does that.

The transport is Streamable HTTP: a JSON-RPC 2.0 message posted to the URL above. Nothing else is needed, and no key is issued.
